White Angelica

White Angelica
This is truly one of my favorite oils and I'm thrilled it's back in stock!!! Have you heard about White Angelica? Let me fill you in!

White Angelica essential oil blend has a sweet, warm, and floral fragrance, with a combination of exotic essential oils from around the world in climates such as Madagascar, Italy, France, Egypt, Bulgaria, Somalia, Canada, and Australia. White Angelica combines 10 of Young Living’s 100 percent pure essential oils, including Bergamot, Myrrh, Geranium, Ylang Ylang, Melissa, and Rose.

This amazing oil is wonderful applied topically to the shoulders, wrists, neck and heart, and can also be diffused.  If you want, you can even add it to Young Living’s ART® Light Moisturizer because this wonderful, floral, harmonizing blend may enhance the appearance of skin.

I personally love White Angelica for the way it supports my emotions, helping me let go of the negative and bringing with it a sense of protection and strength.  It's very comforting to me and makes me feel a sense of security.

White Angelica is only available for a limited time, so you want to stock up and have a stash on hand to last you though the months when it's seasonally unavailable. It can only be ordered via Essential Rewards (with a 2 per month limit), so if you're not currently an ER member, this is another great reason to get started!

On the 12th Day of Christmas...

On the 12th Day of Christmas...
On the 12th day of oils, my true love gave to me....a Young Living Diffuser!

Confessions of a diffuser addict...when Luke moved back home last year, one of the first comments he made was, "How many diffusers do you have???"...He can't complain since kept the dew drop diffuser in his bedroom when he lived with us. Noah brought the bamboo diffuser out of his bedroom recently, which means that it's back in the family room. The rose home diffuser is in the kitchen, the desert mist diffuser is in the basement and the Rainstone is next to our bed...At least I share the diffuser goodness!!! I need to replace my Orb diffuser - I've REALLY missed it. I love it at my desk, but it's essential when we travel!

I love that I can use our diffusers to completely change the atmosphere of our home or to quickly freshen a room. I can use them to help us stay alert and focused or unwind and relax or to help us get a restful night's sleep. We ALWAYS use our diffusers when our immune systems need support and since we have more than one in our family who deals with occasional tummy upset when traveling, we definitely no longer drive any long distances without our orb puffing out some peppermint! That little orb has transformed car traveling for us for sure!

Here are some of our favorite diffusing combos:

  • Lemon & Peppermint or Clarity & Motivation - Focused and Productive
  • Lavender & Stress Away - Unwind, Relax & Restful Sleep
  • Citrus Fresh & Joy - Uplifting
  • Thieves & Purification - Immune System Support
  • RC & Purification - Upper Respiratory Support
  • Citrus Fresh or Orange & Purification - Room Freshening
  • Cinnamon Bark & Orange - Uplifting / Homey / Fall
  • Orange & Idaho Blue Spruce - ROMANCE (!!!)
What I always suggest is to think about what you want to support with the oils and put that in your diffuser.

Did you know when you use a cold air diffuser it can actually cause the oils to remain suspended in the air for several hours because it atomizes the oils, creating a micro-fine mist in the air? Because the oils aren't being heated, their therapeutic properties are being kept intact.

I fell in love with our original, home diffuser from the first moment we used it! Because YL's diffusers are high grade plastic, I know they'll be able to handle the potency of YL's oils and won't break down, especially when citrus or hot oils are being diffused. I love that depending on which one I'm using, it can even run through the night if we want. Once you have one and you begin bringing it from room to room, you realize you don't want to have to do that, so you start adding more to your collection over time and then suddenly you discover that you've amassed a collection of a half dozen or more of them. It's just the way it happens!

Diffusers are such an easy way for our entire family to enjoy the benefits the oils provide! Yah, I’m a diffuser user and I’m proud to admit it!

Here are some other diffuser combo favorites for the season. Enjoy!

On the Eleventh Day of Christmas...

On the Eleventh Day of Christmas...
On the 11th day of oils, my true love gave to me....a bottle of RC....and I was breathing easy!

RC has 3 types of Eucalyptus, plus Myrtle, Pine, Marjoram, Lavender, Cypress, Tsuga, and Peppermint. I bet there are some oils in that blend that you've never even heard of! And did you know that there's more than one type of Eucalyptus? I sure didn't!
The moment I open the bottle RC and catch a whiff of it, I'm instantly comforted and in some ways transported back to my childhood, as I'm reminded of the old-fashioned rub remedies my parents used to use to help me through constant bouts of bronchitis.

RC was designed to help support the upper respiratory system. When I need that kind of support to stay well, I apply it over my sinuses, on my chest and even under my armpits where there are lymph nodes that connect directly to your lungs.

RC was an instant favorite for me and for our kids because of the way that it naturally helps us breathe easy through the spring and fall. Our favorite way to handle those seasons is to take a capsule with 4 drops each of Lemon, Peppermint and Lavender Vitality oils, then apply RC over our sinuses and put a bit of lavender on the bridge of our noses and just inside the nostrils. If we're feeling "pressured," we might layer Copaiba over the RC over our sinuses and even our chests. It's a combo that works really well together! We also love to diffuse RC, often with Thieves and Purification.

If you're using RC topically, it's best if you apply it with a carrier oil, like coconut or olive oil, because this blend contains "hot oils" that may cause irritation to sensitive skin.

This is yet another oil we won't run out of, especially in the three seasons when we need the upper respiratory system support the most! It's a must-have in one's arsenal of oils!

On the Tenth Day of Christmas...

On the Tenth Day of Christmas...
On the 10th day of oils, my true love gave to me....a bottle of lavender!

EVERY night this oil gets rubbed between my palms, then over my pillowcase. I lay my head down on my pillow, my thoughts actually quiet, and I drift off to sleep peacefully....The sense of peace and calm that come over me when I smell its fragrance is so comforting!

Each new tube of mascara I purchase gets 2 drops of lavender in it before I use it. Not only does it smell amazing (TOTAL spa experience), my lashes are long and thick and healthy after having done this for about two months.

Abigail and I each love soaking in a warm tub with Epsom salts and lavender, letting daily stresses simply wash away as each of our muscles unwind....

Personally, I also like to use a bit of lavender on my wrists when those occasional, monthly headaches hit.

Lavender is always included in my daily moisturizer because of the way it supports my skin. It's so good for skin health that when we get a burn from cooking or we've spent too much time in the sun, we apply lavender to help soothe our skin and alleviate discomfort.

Our family relies on Lavender, along with Lemon and Peppermint, to help alleviate seasonal upper respiratory discomfort. I also like to put a bit of it on the bridge of my nose and just inside my nostrils for easy breathing.

Did you know you can also use Lavender Vitality in your cooking and baking? YL has an incredible Lavender lemonade recipe that I fell in love with while visiting YL's lavender farm in Mona, Utah. Delicious! You can find the recipe on this link: https://www.youngliving.com/blog/honey-lavender-lemonade/.

Did you know that Lavender has SO MANY uses that it's been nicknamed the "Swiss Army Knife of Essential Oils"?  If in doubt, use lavender!
