This is a concept shared by Canadian, YL Diamond Leader, Carla Green, who was introduced to Young Living 18 years ago. Carla is a physical therapist, a registered acupuncturist and a wealth of information when it comes to Young Living’s supplements.
Carla likens supporting our bodies’ health and wellness to the four pillars (or legs) of a table, along with the tabletop. She believes that if you give your body the right tools, it will function perfectly and with the right tools, it also knows how to heal and repair itself.
You may not know it, but 10-20 billion cells die in your body every day. In the same 24 hours, your body builds 10-20 billion new cells. It would make sense then that it’s incredibly important that we have good building blocks for our cellular heath!
So, where do we begin when we have so many supplement options? Carla recommends that you first build your table of health and support your body with 4 basic supplements and when you do, your overall health and wellness will dramatically improve as your cells are supported and regenerate. From there, you can add some additional supplements to your table top that will also help support your body.
So, what are these 4 Pillars and Table Top? The pillars consist of Ningxia Red, OmegaGize, Life 9, and Essentialzymes-4, while the table top is comprised of additional Vitamin D3, MultiGreens, Master Formula, Mindwise, and AgilEase. You may decide on a slightly different table top, but this suggested combination will support every system in your body, giving your cells the healthy building blocks they need.

Over the next several blog posts, we’re going to learn why each of these foundational supplements are so beneficial to our health.

Not only are YL’s supplements incredible because they adhere to same Seed to Seal Promise that guarantees our oils, they’re also infused with YLEO’s. Let me explain WHY this is important.
Clinical experience has shown that before adding essential oils to the formula it was absorbed in the blood by 24%.
After adding essential oils, the blood absorption increased to 64% after only 30 minutes and a whopping 86% absorption after 60 minutes!!! The cells were now able to receive nutrients that they previously had not been able to assimilate.
What a night and day difference!
So, what does that mean? Simply that your cells are receiving more nutrients from these supplements because of being infused with YL’s essential oils. Pretty cool, huh? If you’re taking supplements in order to increase the nutrients your body is receiving, why would you want to use any other supplements than YL’s, especially since you’re getting increased bioavailability in supplements that you know are of the highest quality?
The impact that supplements have in our body is tremendous, but as I mentioned at the beginning of our class, to get the most out of their benefits, you need to be consistent with using your supplements. This is why Essential Rewards is so great - you get rewarded for staying consistent in meeting your health goals, plus you earn points back on every supplement you purchase, in effect giving you a “rebate” with each order!
Our family’s monthly orders always contain supplements. Let me fill you in on some of our favorites in the next few blog posts!

How many companies open their farms to the public and make a point of inviting their members to visit, participate in harvesting, and more? Young Living does, and I’ve now visited two of our farms, planted lavender in our fields, harvested it and witnessed the distillation processes of our oils.
The transparency of our company, along with our dedication to incredibly high standards is what has given me the confidence to use all of YL’s products for our family, along with sharing them with everyone I meet, partnering with YL’s mission to bring oils to every home in the world.
Young Living has a seed to seal guarantee and promise. They abide by very strict guidelines to fulfill their promise to send pure products to your home, whether that’s essential oils, supplements, personal and skincare, makeup, cleaning products and more.
- Their farms and partner farms abide by strict standards.
- They select the strongest seeds from strong thriving plants.
- They hand-weed and use their own oils on plants for pest control to avoid the use of toxic chemicals.
- They harvest at peak times to ensure quality oils.
- They distill on site without chemicals.
- They test every batch. If it doesn’t meet their standards because of weather conditions or for any other reason, they do not bottle it up.
All of these factors make a huge difference in quality and effectiveness.
