LIFE IS A HIGHWAY
Today, I found myself cleaning out cabinets, drawers, and other spaces that had been ignored for a while. It started about 6:30 this morning when I was putting away clean dishes and discovered some things had gotten wonky in the cabinets while I've been at our daughter's this last week.

Cabinets became drawers, the refrigerator, my desk, an area in my office closet . . . . It wasn't at all planned, but oddly enough, I felt like God was in it. I caught up on laundry, worked on our June calendar, did some office stuff that was really important, and analyzed an area of my business.

Conversations with God recently, and a couple of friends, have been about the shift that's happening both in the spirit and in the natural. I felt like I was being prompted to do the organizing today in preparation for what's coming.

Three scriptures stood out to me in my reading this morning - each from The Passion Translation, each connected to what God has been speaking to my heart.

"God reveals Himself when He makes the fault lines quake, shaking deserts, speaking His voice." (Ps. 29:8)

"My life, my every moment, my destiny - it's all in your hands." (Psalm 31:15a)

"I hear the Lord saying, 'I will stay close to you, instructing and guiding you along the pathway for your life. I will advise you along the way and lead you forth with my eyes as your guide, so don't make it difficult; don't be stubborn when I take you where you've not been before. Don't make me tug you and pull you along. Just come with me!'" (Ps. 32:8-9)

This is what I'm sensing. It's a shifting happening for the sake of the fulfillment of destiny.

I had a vision the other day of a highway rising up in upheaval - much like you'd see in a movie. Then, it settled back in place and the road was smooth, ready to move forward on it. When I shared with a friend what I had seen, she said she totally saw it and that when the road was in upheaval, it was as if things were being shifted and moved around so that when it came back down, everything was in its place.

That totally resonated with my spirit because once everything had shifted and settled back into place, the highway became the place of forward movement.

That shifted and resettled road is our pathway. As we continue on that road set before us, the Lord is advising us and leading us as our guide. He's asking us to make it easy by not being stubborn and fighting Him on it. It's going to be unfamiliar, but don't let fear of the unknown cause you to fight God as you try to stay in control. Trust Him enough to simply go with Him. Let your life - every moment, and your entire destiny, be in His hands.

Adventure awaits and unknown roads hold wonders for us to behold and experience!
