Let go!
This is my favorite week of the year.
It’s a time for me to take extra time listening to the Lord and really focus in on hearing what He’s telling me about the year to come. I begin asking Him weeks prior to this, but this is when it becomes solidified in my spirit.
I ask Him for a one-word focus for the new year, but I also ask Him for a one-word focus for each month. I write them all down, then as the new month begins, I ask Him what He’s saying prophetically as it relates to that word. I’ve been in awe as I’ve listened to Him and watched those words be fulfilled, as well as be confirmed by other prophetic voices I greatly respect. It’s been an affirmation to my heart that I’m hearing from Him, and I treasure that.
So far, I have my 2022 word, as well as monthly words for January-May. The funny thing? I fought Him on the word for April because it was a two-word phrase instead of being a single word. I even rephrased it into a single word and was going to go with that – until God clearly let me know this was truly the “word” for that month by confirming it through others.
Here’s the thing…While it’s the word He’s given to me for April, I believe with all my heart it’s also a “now” word – one that needs to be put into effect as we move into the New Year.

Friend, there are things God doesn’t want you to take into 2022. He’s been speaking to you about them in a variety of ways. These things that you’re fighting to hold onto aren’t going to serve you well as you move into the new year. God wants to do a new thing and old wineskins are going to burst if you try to fill them with His new wine.
It’s going to take trust. I see shifts in jobs and businesses, as well as in relationships. There are things you’re holding onto believing things will change for the better with them, but the better is different than what you’ve believed it to be.
I believe some are fighting to stay where they are – in location, life situations, ministries, and more. You’re hanging on when God is asking you to let go. That may or may not mean that the things you’ve been holding onto will no longer be part of your life. That’s a conversation for you to have with Jesus and be led by Him.
In letting go and trusting Him, I see so much blessing being poured out – financial, peace, health, and a settling into destiny like never before. It’s going to take letting go to move forward.
You can’t swim in the deep end if you don’t let go of the side of the pool.
A baby can’t walk, and eventually run, without first letting go of the hands and objects he or she has been holding onto to steady them.
So what if you fall when you let go? Fall forward! Then, stand up and take another step!
You can’t run weighted down by a heavy pack on your back.
LET GO!
It’s crucial for you to let go in order for you to walk in the fullness of what God has for you in 2022. Take these next couple of days and do business with God. Be real with Him. Wrestle with Him over the things you’re struggling with letting go of and ask Him to meet you in those places. He won’t disappoint you, my friend. He CAN be trusted. He loves you SO much!!!!
Happy New Year, friend! Our prayer is that you enter into 2022 lighter than ever, unhindered in running forward in your destiny and calling!

Our Mission: Love Others Well & Empower Them to Do the Same

As we prepare to end this year and launch into 2022, it seems so fitting for “propel” to be the final word God has given me for 2021. We’re finishing the year with vision and movement toward what lies ahead.
Google defines propel as “drive, push, or cause to move in a particular direction, typically forward.” Its Latin roots contain the meanings of “forward” and “to drive.”
Propel isn’t a timid word. It’s a force and has intention behind it. We’re not in a time or a season of being allowed the luxury of sitting back, watching what happens around us. We’re being propelled forward - and we have the ability to choose what’s driving us.
Will it be fear?
Will it be the news?
Will it be the church?
Will it be the government?
Will it be our family and friends?
Will it be the Holy Spirit?
We get to choose. God created us with free will. We only give that up when we give our choices away to others, allowing them to make decisions for us, or when others exercise their will over ours and take our freedoms away. Even in those situations and circumstances, we still choose how we’ll move forward, either with acquiescence or refusal.
Recently, I was given the invitation as part of a group I’ve been in to go through our house and get rid of things God would highlight to me that I no longer needed. It was a “culling” or “purging.” The funny thing? I’d already begun doing that in June and had been continuing the process in different areas of our house over the last several months. This was a “last push” for me of going through spaces I hadn’t addressed yet and this time, it was freeing like never before as I threw bags out and dropped others off at Goodwill.
Why were we encouraged to do this? Because, as it was shared with the group, there’s an end to what was and the new has begun. “The end of a thing is better than its beginning . . . ” (Ecclesiastes 7:8a) It was explained that there are times when, in order to be propelled into destiny, we need to let go of things that could be obstacles or hindrances to us being able to move forward. For instance, some things have memories associated with them that can trigger feelings of shame, failure, sadness, anger, or any myriad of emotions that can make us feel stuck. Others are encumbrances chaining us, even invisibly, to places we’re meant to move on from in our lives.
I really sense the invitation of the Lord to lean in and listen to His leading regarding how we’re to intentionally advance into 2022. What do we need to let go of and purge from our lives? What direction is He leading us to move forward in? Where do we need additional drive to make it happen? What voices need to be silenced in our lives so we can better hear the Holy Spirit? Are there any ways we’ve allowed others to make decisions for us that we were intended to make for ourselves?
I see both a slingshot and a change of shoes this month.
As a stone is pulled back in the sling to be propelled forward to hit its mark, tension builds on the bands, but it’s that tension that provides the force for the stone to be shot out in the direction it’s intended to go in. Don’t be surprised by the tension you experience this month. Over these last few months, you’ve been shifted into place, adjusted, and positioned. Now, it’s time for that drive and push forward. Things just might get a little “taut” (strained or stretched) in the process.
You’re also going to need a new pair of shoes – whether in the natural or in the spiritual. Where you’re going, you haven’t been before, and you need the proper footwear to walk the path set before you. Maybe it’s dress shoes for the business or political realm He’s propelling you into or trendy footwear for the arts, entertainment, and media realms or comfortable shoes to be worn as an educator who always seems to be on their feet. It may be hiking shoes for the adventure that awaits! Ask the Lord what your pair of shoes are that will equip you for what you’re being propelled into now and in the New Year.
Be driven forward by Holy Spirit.
Make intentional decisions.
Let go of anything hindering you.
Don’t fear the tension of the moment.
Wear the right shoes.
Drive forward - don’t let anything stop you.
Let GOD propel you!
(And . . . send me a picture of any shoes you happen to purchase!)

Frankincense 15-ml (Bonus Subscribe to Save 400 PV tier)
Yes, a 15-ml bottle of Frankincense. This is liquid gold! Skin care. Calming. A deeper, richer spiritual or meditative experience. This is a famous gift connected to the holidays and getting it as a gift for ourselves is perfect. You can literally never have too much Frankincense.
• Add to your moisturizer to promote the appearance of healthy-looking skin and even skin tones.
• Create a safe and comforting environment by diffusing while engaged in prayer or meditation.

Thieves 15-ml (300 PV tier)
For the cold, winter months and the holidays where everyone is out shopping and putting their grubby little fingers on everything, Thieves is a life saver. Along with having a wonderful, comforting aroma for winter, the Vitality version (which is the same oil as this one, by the way) helps support our immune systems, and the warming sensation on our feet and chest when applied with a carrier oil can be a nice relief during winter.
• Add a few drops to your dishwater or dishwasher to eliminate odors and boost cleaning.
• Dilute and apply to the bottom of your feet during cold winter months.

R.C. 15-ml (250 PV tier)
Speaking of chest rubs, for those days you want a cooling relief and sensation on your chest, take 3-4 drops of R.C. with some carrier oil and make an invigorating chest rub! The Eucalyptus and other fresh oils in it will have you breathing easily and feeling motivated to take on the day.
• Use R.C. with V-6 for a foot or back massage after your gym routine, outdoor adventure, or yoga practice to enjoy a refreshing scent.
• Diffuse 8–20 drops to experience the relaxing aroma in any stuffy environment.

Christmas Spirit 5-ml (190 PV tier)
All the holiday gatherings will be greatly enhanced with the festive, delicious aroma of Christmas Spirit in the air. Want a little extra calming of tension or "activity" during a holiday gathering? Add a few drops of Frankincense. You're welcome.
• Add it to Thieves Household Cleaner for a festive twist to your cleaning experience.
• Use Christmas Spirit to create your own holiday potpourri.

Winter Nights Foaming Hand Soap 3-pk (190 PV tier)
Keep your hands clean all winter long without drying them out. Plus, the added bonus of Winter Nights lingering on clean hands might have guests going back and washing their hands more than once.
• Leaves skin soft and clean with a sweet, woodsy scent.
• Combines Northern Lights Black Spruce, Peppermint, Cedarwood, and Orange essential oils with other naturally derived ingredients to clean hands.

Pine 5-ml (Bonus Subscribe to Save 190 PV tier)
There's a lot of really good and interesting information out there about Pine. I definitely suggest that you dig a little and see what's been said about it recently. I will say, there is comfort and courage to be had in applying Pine topically to your chest with some carrier oil. And woodsy oils in the diffuser are always calming and easy to breathe. This is a great gift!
• Shares many of the same properties as Eucalyptus Globulus; the action of both oils is enhanced when blended together.
• Pairs well with other essential oils such as Peppermint, Lavender, and Eucalyptus.

GREAT WAYS TO USE DECEMBER'S GIFTS WITH PURCHASE:

Tips for Beating the Winter Blues
When the weather gets cold and the sun goes to bed a little earlier than normal, we often need a little help in the “mood” department. Do we not? It’s easy to let the gloom set in and fall prey to apathy. When you feel yourself headed in this direction, use some of these tips to lift those spirits and get your heart and mind in the right place.
Expose yourself to some natural light! Go for a walk, sit by a window - just get in some of those glorious, energizing rays. Apply R.C. to your chest prior to your walk and enjoy easy breathing!
Inhale happy scents! Aromatherapy is a great way to uplift the spirits and connect directly to the emotional control center in the brain. Citrus oils like Lemon, Grapefruit, Lime, Orange, or Bergamot are perfect for diffusing during this time of year.
Tidy things up a bit. It may sound silly but doing things like making your bed, decluttering the counter, or folding a load of clothes can help you clear the chaos in your mind and give you a sense of control and order. Apply Motivation to your wrists and behind your ears to help you get moving!
Distract your brain. When you can’t seem to get out of your own head - shift your focus. Turn on some happy tunes or find a comedic video to watch. Music and laughter are proven stress relievers. Try it! Diffuse your favorite, happy scents or apply Joy.
Practice self-care. Do something that brings you joy - get your hair and nails done, read a romantic novel, take a relaxing bath using DIY Epsom salts infused with relaxing oils or one of YL's bath bombs, snuggle up to your favorite show, etc. Make taking care of you a priority!
Exercise and eat right. You’ll be surprised at what a little movement can do for your mood! And make sure you're giving your body the fuel it needs with nutritious fruits and vegetables - not empty carbs and sugar. Need support in making healthy food choices? Try breathing in Peppermint instead of grabbing that extra cookie.

Our Mission: Love Others Well & Empower Them to Do the Same

Living a Life of Worship
I love worship. It draws me into His presence and close to His heart like nothing else. The crazy thing? It’s also what I make the least amount of time to do on a daily basis. I read the Word and books that help me grow in my faith. I journal. I pray in bits and pieces all throughout the day (and could grow in this area, too). Yet, worship seems to be the last thing I do as part of my day, and I often end up out of time with that being the thing that gets left out of my Jesus time.
Challenges for me include the fact that I’m not a morning person, so starting with music is hard for me. I want a quiet cup of coffee as I read. Then, once I’m functioning more, I can move into worship, but by then, I need to get on with my day. I can also get overstimulated, so I prefer to have my days be quiet, rather than play music. I’ll even opt for a teaching to listen to over music when I’m cleaning, for instance, which can seem really odd, but I love learning and am a perpetual student, so I’m naturally drawn to teaching. What’s so funny is that I was on a worship team for years, have an A.A. degree in theater and music, and grew up with music constantly being played, so you would think living a life of praise and worship would be second nature for me!
What all of this speaks to me is how powerful praise and worship really are and why the enemy will lull us into complacency in this area and make it feel “hard” to do. Worship is a choice – whether that choice is in what we do with our time or in how we feel in the moment. It has nothing to do with us or our circumstances. It’s not a coin we put into a vending machine to get what we want out of it. Neither is it a quick fix (although praise and worship shift atmospheres like nothing else can).
Worship is all about Him. It’s about our loving Father God, our Creator, and Maker of the Universe. It’s about Jesus, the Lord of all, King of Kings, Savior of the world. It’s about our Beloved - His beauty, kindness, mercy, and grace. It’s about recognizing His glory and whose presence we bow before in surrender, love, and adoration as we honor Him with all that we are and everything we were created to be. It’s offering Him our thanks with grateful hearts, undone by His goodness toward us.
In that place and space, our every thought, every breath, are consumed by Him, crowding out anything else that would try to steal our attention away. That’s when God moves on our behalf. Without us asking Him to, He goes to war for us and defeats the enemy in a battle He’s already won. All we need to do is worship, let everything fall away, and allow Him to be our sole focus.
Some are drawn to hymns, while others love contemporary worship music. Some even end up unexpectedly writing songs of their own in His presence. Worship is found in music, art, writing, dance, and even breath.
When I think of breath as worship, I think of speaking out, “Yahweh,” the Hebrew name of God. As we say, “Yah,” we breathe in; “weh” is the exhale. It’s a sacred name and as such, the vowels are removed by Jews in writing and the name is regarded as too holy to be spoken.

This morning, I was reading about the importance of living a life of praise and worship. As I read, I suddenly had the urge to write. I’m not someone who rhymes – it’s not my style, so I knew this was Spirit inspired. I pray as you read these lines, the Lord would draw you more deeply into His heart, you would sense His presence more fully, and know His love for you more intimately than before.
Life of Worship
I will worship.
I will sing.
I will write
Of the praises of the King!
Time slow down,
World, stand still.
Give me these moments,
If you will.
Moments in His presence,
Love wrapped ‘round.
Leaning in even more,
This place becomes holy ground.
Gauzy white, You dress me.
Nothing hidden; nothing unseen.
I stand before You beautiful.
By Your love, made clean.
To You, my life surrendered.
In all, You have my, “Yes.”
Bowed in worship before You,
I can offer You no less.
Bridge:
You are my everything.
You are my everything.
You are my all.
You are my everything.
You are my all!
My lips will praise.
My voice will shout.
‘Cause if I’m silent,
Rocks would cry out!
You are worthy,
So worthy of praise!
To You, and You alone,
My “hallelujah” I raise!
This is Thanksgiving week. Why not anchor our thanks-giving in the One who’s given His all for us to have it all? Life, love, redemption . . . that’s just the beginning reasons for our praise and worship!

Need prayer? Please reach out. We'd love to pray for you and your family! Much love and Happy Thanksgiving!
Living for Him,
Andrea & Brian
