On the Fifth Day of Christmas...
On the 5th day of oils, my true love gave to me....a bottle of PanAway!

And after any LONG day of being on my feet or following exercise, my body always thanks him for it! Oh, my word! I LOVE the "icy / hot" feel of this oil and the smell that reminds me of old-school muscle rubs that I used back in the day...

Wintergreen, helichrysum, clove and peppermint are the oils that make up this wonderful blend. It's phenomenal for alleviating occasional aches and pains associated with exercise or just overdoing it, as well as with helping to address the pain associated with occasional headaches. For either issue, we simply rub in a drop or two on the area needing it.

Using a bit of coconut oil as a carrier oil when applying PanAway is a good idea because it helps with absorption of the oil into the body, enables you to cover a larger area with less oil, and helps prevent any kind of irritation on sensitive skin.

Our FAVORITE way of using it is hands-down the following recipe that we call our "Occasional Soreness Cream." A jar of this cream remains at the ready on top of my bathroom dresser / cabinet for whenever I need it. It's especially nice following a hot shower that also helps to work the kinks out. The cream is so great to have on hand and easy to apply whenever needed!

1 Cup Coconut Oil, softened
10 drops Valor
10 drops Panaway
10 drops Peppermint

Mix for 10 minutes with a hand or stand mixer, then store in a glass jar. Apply to sore areas as needed.

Alternate Recipe - add up to 10 drops each of any or all of the following to the above recipe: Copaiba, Frankincense, Nutmeg, Lavender, Aroma Siez & Lemon Grass. I really like to add in the Copaiba, Lemongrass, and Nutmeg.

Buh-bye soreness! Hellooooo, ahhhhhh......

BTW - this is an oil that can be used on your dogs, too. Just be sure to dilute it according to your pup's weight and size.

***This oil is one that you want to keep out of reach of children due to Wintergreen being in it, which is why it comes with a child safety cap.
